The torque converter provides the hydrodynamic connection between the engine and the automatic transmission, transferring the engine’s generated torque to the gearbox. At the same time, it performs the function of a clutch by enabling load-dependent engagement as well as torque multiplication during launch conditions.
The torque converter we offer is a performance-optimized upgrade specifically developed for high-performance applications. By utilizing a CNC-machined billet stator, torque multiplication in the lower RPM range is significantly increased. This results in an elevated stall speed of approximately 4,300–4,400 RPM and substantially improved launch characteristics.
Especially in vehicles equipped with large turbochargers and pronounced turbo lag, the optimized stator enables faster boost pressure build-up, as the engine operates in a higher and more efficient RPM range during launch. This is crucial for maximum acceleration performance, particularly in 0–100 km/h acceleration and quarter-mile racing applications.
The converter is designed to withstand high thermal and mechanical loads, making it ideal for high-performance engine and transmission setups in motorsport environments.
